Making money through a casino affiliate program is like so many of the progressive jackpots that the games on the casino sites advertise. The prize is built up over time and dedication, not simply won on the first roll of a dice or spin of a wheel. Affiliates like the casinos and other successful sites on the Internet must first build up a large customer base in order to harbour any hopes of earning serious money. But that customer foundation never happens overnight, it is something that the affiliate must work towards and build upon. The more people that the site attracts over time the more money the affiliate stands to earn.

In the affiliate marketing program there is no way for a successful business to be created by simply resting on its laurels. As with any industry offering an affiliate program, the online casino industry customers tend to have a limited life. Some casino members will remain on the site for years and spend a lot of time and money in the rooms. Whilst this is the ideal model for any affiliate and casino to attract it doesn’t always work out that way. Some people only access sites to take advantage of their hugely rewarding initial bonuses. In this situation neither the affiliate nor the casino earns much if any money. These uncertainties and issues mean that constantly encouraging new clientele through an affiliate site is paramount to the success of the business. The more custom and affiliate produces, the higher the likelihood of attracting members who are likely to invest a great deal of time and money into a casino. Subsequently the more regular customers an affiliate introduces the more income they can expect to produce each and every month, rather than in fits and starts.

There are no caps or limits to how many people an affiliate can attract or for how much money they can make. Therefore the onus is well and truly on the affiliate to attract as many people as possible to their site and convincing the majority of visitors to follow their links and join the site. The more they convince to join, the more money the affiliate marketers can make, it sounds simple because it is. However whilst the equation is simple, there are some inherent difficulties that must be solved. The first and foremost issue is that of creating enough initial interest, which is only really achievable by making your affiliate site as visible as possible.

It is unlikely that people will ever discover a site purely by entering the address at random. The most likely source is by creating a word of mouth campaign through blogs and forums or by making the site high on search engine lists. There are a number of ways of optimising your site for both sources. Spreading the word no matter where can increase your traffic even if it is only by a few it can be well worth it. Spamming people is not always advisable as they will be so irate that they won’t even consider joining your address. Respecting the Internet and those who use it should always remain a priority, there are ways of advertising your whereabouts without infringing these basic ideals.

Affiliate programs have become more popular nowadays, especially for sales people who want to make money easily and quickly. However, before you choose any affiliate program, make sure that you have answered all questions relating to a good affiliate program. Here are some questions you may ask:

1. Does the affiliate program offer high commission rates for products?

I know it is a tough question to answer. How much is high? Normally, commissions of 25%-30% of the product price are expected of a good affiliate program.

2. How much traffic does the vendor get to his site?

Before signing up to any affiliate program, remember to do some research on the vendor’s site, especially the site’s traffic. Alexa.com may be helpful in doing this research. If the site is ranked in the top 100,000 the merchant gets good daily traffic to his site. If the site is ranked below 500,000 it is not worth bothering. You should find another one. So remember to do the research before you want to invest anything.

3. Does the merchant use any tracking system?

All good affiliate programs provide excellent tracking systems. This system allows you to track visitors by using cookies, so that you can get accredited with sales that originate from your site. Check out how long the cookies last. The longer they last, the better chances are of getting paid.

4. Is the payment safe?

Be sure that you can get commission payment easily and safely, otherwise you’ll waste a lot of time and effort. A perfect affiliate program has a secure payment system so that you can check your balance any time or be informed shortly when you receive any credit. Moreover, you should ask about the payment time because different affiliate programs have various payment times. Some pay monthly, some quarterly. It is also vital to know the minimum balance you need to earn in order to get paid.

5. Does the affiliate program have any tool to help affiliates sell more?

A standard database with all kind of reports from sales to payment and other tools like ads, banners.. are very vital for affiliate management. Make sure that you can control all the sales, keep track of them and make good decisions. Moreover, the support system must be really good to help you solve some urgent situations you may encounter.

6. Does the affiliate program offer affiliate referral program or two tier affiliate program?

It means that you can get additional commission if you can recruit more affiliates into the affiliate program. The more they sell, the more referral commission you may get. Therefore, recruit as many affiliates for you as possible.

Conclusion:
Finding a good affiliate program is a tough work. The best advice for you is to do your own research, using these abovementioned questions as a guide that will lead you to the right merchant, to reach your financial goal. If you find one, tell me.

If you are a website owner and have not yet signed up to an affiliate program, then you are missing perhaps the greatest opportunity to make money online. Depending on the aspirations of you or your team and your site is dependent on how much money you can make. Affiliate marketing is the easy way to make your website work for you, without any of the hassle of selling products or buyer contact. All that is required is that you insert a few advertisements on your site, way for the clicks and your away.

For the inexperienced website owner, the choice of affiliate programs may seem a little baffling at first. You can choose to house shopping adverts, auction sites even adult sites if you really wanted. However the key is choosing an industry with boundless opportunities and a huge current client base as well as the opportunities to expand further. Bearing in mind these criteria one of the greatest profitable industries to join as an affiliate is the online gaming industry, or more particularly casinos.

The idea of representing a casino may not appeal to everybody for various ethical or personal reasons, but for those looking to make big money from a huge industry you can’t do much better than casinos. Each year the online casino industry generates billions of dollars worth of revenue, much like their real-life counterparts. Also like the real-life incarnations are the online casinos willingness to share some of their wealth in an effort to gain advertising and eventually customers. The industry is made up of huge titans and small fish trying to make their way to the top. No matter at which point a company is on the ladder to success, they need to advertise in order to stay on top or get there in the first place. Therefore through affiliate marketing they can gain what is basically free advertising space.

It remains free until the affiliate lures in a new customer for the casino site. When this happens the casinos are more than willing to richly reward their allies, offering between 20 and 35% of the players lifetime cash generated. Depending on the player this can be a huge amount or even a negative amount. The important thing for an affiliate to do is make sure that they don’t get stung by negative balances. Most affiliate schemes clearly state that they will never charge an affiliate when a player wins money, so make sure that your scheme stipulates likewise.

So without the risk of casino gaming a website owner can make a tidy sum to subsidise their site or primary income. All this is available just for the acquisition of a small space on a website for an advert and a few people clicking on them and joining up to a casino site. It sounds simple because it is simple, all the website owner needs to do is sit and wait for the clicks to come. Of course they can help by marketing their own site on search engines and other popular online forums. The more people that can be attracted to your site the more likely you are to get a few lucky clicks. Meaning any website owner can make some serious money from online gaming without ever risking a penny.

Have you ever thought about a specific amount of money you *think* you need, to feel what it’s like to experience success? …

Go back and read that question again.

Most haven’t, but chances are if you have, it’s pretty close to $5,000 a month.

I recently ran a survey to a handful of my best customers, asking them how much money they’d have to make to call themselves successful in their online business…

Out of 113 surveyed, 42 responded with at or around $5,000 a month. 18 of the 42 specifically mentioned passive, or residual income in the amount of $5,000 per month.

Thirty-seven percent of those surveyed wanted $5,000 per month, while fifteen percent wanted it in residual income.

As you continue to read this article, you will learn about a rock solid, tried, tested and approved nine-step strategy for easily acquiring $5,000 per month online using only email…

1. Find an affiliate program that pays instantly, or at least twice a month.

2. Join the affiliate program and calculate your Dollar Value Commission divided by 5,000. This will give you the total number of sales you need to convert from your affiliate link each month. [Example: 5,000 / $33.50 = 150 sales per month]

3. Take your number of sales per month, and divide by four. This gives you the number of sales needed per week. [Example: 150 / 4 = 38 sales per week]

4. Take your sales per week and divide by seven. You now have the number of sales needed per day… [Example: 38 / 7 = 6 sales per day]

5. Now create your Simplified Target Statement:

Example:

"In order to acquire $5,000 per month, I am attracting 6 sales per day, 7 days per week — this or something better!"

6. Print out this statement, take a red pen and circle it. Trace the circle a few times with the pen to "cement" the the idea firmly in your mind.

7. Tape it to your computer desk, or keep it somewhere near you. Preferably, you want to see it during the morning, afternoon and night if possible.

8. Go to MBPAdvertising and run a solo ad inside a publication. Keep a record of what publications pull sales, and keep buying ads in those ezines until your campaign becomes unprofitable.

9. Buy more ads from different sources. MyWizardAds and DirectoryOfEzines can both provide excellent resources for advertising in online publications.

Within one week of each campaign, find out which publications to keep advertising in, and which ones to drop by calculating the revenue minus advertising cost of each referred sale. For example, if Ezine A ran my ad and it received 34 sales generating $1,139 in commissions, and I paid $149 to run the ad, I made $990.00 in pure profit.

Obviously, I made more than I spent to acquire those customers, so my campaign is considered profitable. This is ALL that matters. If you’re making more than you’re spending to get customers, you’re golden!

People often get caught up and frozen in details that really don’t matter anyway.

All that matters is that you make more than you spend to acquire new customers.

Granted, some can afford to lose money on acquiring new customers because they have a well thought out follow up strategy to pick up the profit on the back end.

This may seem basic… and it is. But if you can apply 100% of your focus to a Simplified Target Statement without worrying about the details… you will reach your target and acquire the exact amount of income you’re after.

Sure, there are many other things you could do to acquire just six new customers per day, with a commission of $33.50 per sale — but you don’t need it.

Stick to the basics. They’re basic, because they are fundamental principles that work.

I can’t tell you how long it’ll take you to reach your $5,000 per month reward.

But this simple method can make earning that lifestyle closer than ever before.

Think about it. With a $67 product at 50% commission, you’re just six sales per day away from a $5,000 per month experience that’ll change your life.

If you’re a website owner and you’ve noticed that a lot of other sites have advertisements and yours doesn’t you’re probably wondering why. You might also wonder what do they do? Why are they there? Do they make money from them? The truth is that these advertisements more often than not mean that the site owner is a part of an affiliate scheme. Whilst they may sound like a bit of a longshot and an unlikely earner the truth is actually very different. Webmasters all around the world are benefiting from earning an extra income simply by having small advertisements on their pages, which begs the question why aren’t you?

Affiliate programs are simple and require little or no effort on the part of the website owner. All that is needed is to sign up to one of the many programs available, download some adverts, place them on your site and bingo your away. It sounds simple because it is simple, you can make it as easy as you like. Working hard, like in all working environments can pay dividends, by increasing your sites marketing and content there is a far greater chance of success. Work hard and your site could be earning you more than you ever thought possible.

But when a site manager goes to choose an affiliate scheme to join, which should they choose. The Internet is awash with ideas and companies all desperate to get a small advert on as many sites as possible. The best bet for any website owner is to choose a successful industry, one that will reward you with the greatest payouts and attract the most visitors. Industries that have the potential to increase, whilst already being huge. An Industry that generates thousands of new members each day. An industry like the online poker gaming sites.

It may sound far fetched to many, but the truth is online gambling has become one of the most profitable and lucrative business opportunities. Millions of dollars are generated each year through poker alone. But in a game where players play against other players how can a site make money. It is very simple, every time a hand is played the poker room takes a cut of up to around $5 depending on the size of the pot. With dozens of games happening in dozens of rooms 24 hours a day 7 days a week, money soon adds up. Similarly each competition and tournament has a two prices one that goes into the prize fund, whilst the other goes to the site. For example a $20+2 tournament costs $22, $20 of which goes into the pot for the poker players and the $2 straight to the website. By taking small percentages each time, the poker site can eventually amass a tiny fortune.

The worldwide availability of the sites means that players in different time zones can play at any time, making sites constantly busy. Therefore the sites can make more money at all times. So where do the affiliates come in? The role of the affiliate is simply to attract people to the sites, once they have done this the poker site rewards them with a percentage of a players money that they have generated for their entire lifetime. So site owners can get a piece of a huge industry, with little or no knowledge about it and with no risk, it’s as close to a sure-fire success as any online money making program.

Recently while surfing the internet, I came across a very interesting website that teaches people how to setup on online business. One aspect to increase sales is to establish an affiliation program.

An “affiliation” is a relationship (an agreement) between two parties in which one party sells the products or services of the other in exchange for a commission. A good affiliation program, even with a competitor, can supercharge online sales. The product owner wins with additional sales and the affiliate wins by receiving a commission.

The affiliate does not have to create or transport the product that is sold, or even collect the money. This is all provided by the owner of the product. This is a huge advantage for the affiliate because startup costs are low. The beginning affiliate only needs to primarily focus on product promotion. In many case, the owner even supplies the affiliate with marketing information.

For sale of goods over the internet, the affiliate provides a URL hyperlink for the customer to click on. This hyperlink links to the website of the owner of the product and has a special code so that the affiliate will get credited when the sale goes through. The credit can range from 1 to 50 percent (or higher) commission, depending on the affiliation agreement.

Some ways for an affiliate to increase sales include:

1) Offer something for free in exchange for the email address. People love to get free stuff and if they like what they get, they may reciprocate at a later time with a purchase.

2) Capture the email addresses to an “opt-in” list. From that list, send repeated emails to increase product awareness and to eventually trigger sales.

3) Market unique products with unique web sites. This provides product focus.

4) Include testimonials from real customers. (Be sure to get the customer’s permission first.)

Advantages for the affiliate include:

1) Low startup costs. The other party develops and produces the product.

2) No inventory. The other party manages that.

3) No handling of the product. The other party transfers the product to the customer.

4) No order processing. The other party sets up the merchant accounts and collects the customer’s money.

5) No shipping costs. The other party gets the product to the customer.

6) No downstream warranty costs. The other party handles all customer commitments.

7) If the product doesn’t sell, dump it and move to something else.

The main advantage for the producer (the other party in the affiliation relationship) is increased sales through increased product exposure.

A properly implemented affiliation program really is a win-win for both the producer and the affiliate.

To the casual observer making money from online poker might seem like a far-fetched fantasy. But hundreds if not thousands of people are. Most of whom do not own a poker site or work for them directly. Many of them may never have even visited a poker site. Dismissive persons may believe that such a program is just another of the Internets highly ineffective get rich quick schemes, but the truth is very different.

The affiliate industry is a way of for two parties to make serious money based on the success and skills of the others. A successful affiliate will draw in large numbers of visitors to their site and then pass them on to the poker company where they will hopefully choose to sign up. If the affiliate fails in their role of attracting visitors to the online poker forum they will receive no payments and therefore will not be maximising their profit capabilities. Therefore it is in the best interests of both parties that the affiliate does all they can to produce the fully signed up members to a poker site. The site gets their customers and the affiliate gets an income for the lifetime of that player. In return it is in the poker sites best interest to not only get new customers but to also keep them. By introducing bonuses, special games and other retaining ideas, the poker companies can keep a gamer interested for more time and therefore produce more money for the site. More money for the poker site also means more money for the affiliate, which makes almost everybody happy.

Most poker sites offer affiliate programs with varying offers and percentages of a player’s lifetime value. Players create money for sites by entering tournaments, playing in hands with large rakes and by adding extra money to their account. So fundamentally all a player needs to do is play regularly to produce an income for the site. Therefore an affiliate can earn a cut of all this money made for the site. The percentage may range between 20 and 35% depending on the site and their individual affiliate plans.

Once the affiliate has passed the player onto the respective poker site, their job is effectively done, for that player. They must then concentrate on attracting more and building on the initial success. There is no need for follow ups or extra work after finding a player, the job is done when the link is clicked on and a person signs up to a cash account. All the affiliate then needs to do is sit back and wait for the player to earn them some extra cash.

Ever wondered how the big boys make so much money with affiliate programs? Here’s some ideas to get you started on your own affiliate marketing business.

You will need to spend some time researching the best paying affiliate programs. Affiliate programs that I have used are Commission Junction and Clickbank. Commission Junction sell hard goods whilst Clickbank sell information products and software. Both programs have some high paying affiliate products.

Before you create any web pages or choose a domain name, you need to do some research. Take time to decide what sort of product you might wish to sell and then locate an affiliate program related to your chosen product. For example, if you have an interest in dogs, then you might choose an affiliate e-book about “Dog Training”. Make a note of all the relevant products and what your commission will be.

How to find your affiliate program

Commission Junction

You can search their programs by advertiser name or products. Hence, in our example of "dogs", you could search on the “products” box for this and find merchants who are selling this.

They also have a very useful tool called the EPC, which reflects how much has been earned for every 100 clicks. For example, if the EPC is $5, this would mean that for every 100 clicks, Commission Junction has paid out $5.

Now it’s just simple maths, if you refer 100 customers to this program each day, you can expect to earn $5, 200 customers earns $10 and so on.

This is just a rough estimate of traffic, but it certainly helps in choosing one merchant over another, when they’re selling the same or similar products.

Also, it will depend on how relevant the advert is to your site. In our example, a “vegetarian dog food” advert placed on a site about dogs is likely to be more successful than one placed on a site about home cooking!

Clickbank

Visit CBmall.com to search the products that Clickbank have available. Again, you might search for "dogs" and come up with "dog training" products to market online.

Then create a mini-site focused on your product. Visit ez-search-engine-optimization.com and download Andrew’s free book on “Creating Niche Sites” for step by step instructions to creating a site which is highly attractive to the search engines.

Buying traffic

A quick way to get traffic to your site is to pay for clicks from either Overture or Google. Buying traffic is a numbers game and is only likely to be profitable if you are selling something of a high value.

If you are selling an e-book for which you get paid a $25 commission fee and you are converting 1% of your visitors into sales, you can afford to pay up to 25 cents per click. Ideally you’d pay less than this so that you can make a profit!

If you have ever considered a foray into the world of advertising but have never found a medium to express yourself, maybe you should consider trying out affiliate marketing online. The affiliate programs are available to anyone who has online capabilities and either has or is considering investing in a website or at least some webspace. It is an easy and hassle free to the world of advertising offering all the rewards of offline advertising but without any of the risk or necessary qualifications. Possibly the best thing about being an affiliate is the ability to earn and learn at the same time, experimenting in marketing techniques and exploring the numerous promotional avenues available to online businesses.

If interested in affiliate marketing you should first consider which industry you would like to work with. Choosing the right industry is key, you should base your decision on the size and potential popularity of any particular business. One of the largest in terms of current members, profit turnover and expansion capabilities is that of online gaming, or more particularly casinos. Most online casinos offer an affiliate system with free advertising and marketing tools. They supply the tools and the affiliate supplies the customers, with both profiting from the equation. As an affiliate to a casino you will be entitled to a percentage of the overall money made by a player that has joined via your link. So it will be in your best interest to attract as many people as possible in order to maximise your own earnings. In turn your efforts will not only reward you as a casino affiliate partner but also of course the casino because they will be taking in a new client and profiting from all that is associated with them.

So having found your affiliate partner and received all of the marketing tools for their site, you may then choose to go about promoting your own site. Because in the affiliate market you must first be able to attract sufficient visitors to your own site before you can ever hope to earn from creating customers. The more people funnelling through your site the higher the likelihood that one will decide to heed your advice and click on through to one of the gambling sites. If you advertise your site as a forum for online casinos then you can immediately expect to encourage the right sort of clientele. If it is a site that is about your personal life or something wholly irrelevant then the likelihood of your website attracting the right people is significantly decreased. Getting your site noticed is one of the hardest things to do, it is a problem that faces every website owner. There are a number of ways to get yourself increased visibility including SEO vocabulary on the site, advertising through one of the major search engines or becoming active on various blogs and online forums using your URL as a signature. All of these options take either time or money, something that must be invested if you are to become a successful affiliate from scratch.

Affiliate programs can be an excellent way to start an online business. Affiliate programs are ways that companies can sell their products without the need for additional employees or overhead. When you sign up for affiliate programs, you market the products the company sells on their behalf and you are paid a commission for the sales you make. The more affiliates a company has, the more money the company will make.

An affiliate is not an employee or a contractor. Affiliates are independent marketers that receive only the rights to market and resell the company’s products. The actual marketing and sales will be up to the affiliate.

There are many companies that have very successful affiliate programs. Look for products and companies that have a proven track record and products that are in demand and that will continue to be in demand. Signing up for affiliate programs is easy and there are some that do not require you to have a web site to get started. Pay per click advertising is a great way to promote affiliate programs. Each time someone clicks your affiliate link, whether on a web site or through a pay per click ad, if a purchase is made as a result of that click, you will earn a commission.

Affiliate marketing is a great online business. There are no or very little start-up costs, you do not need a web site to begin marketing the products, and the amount of money you make is directly related to the amount of work you put in and the marketing techniques you employ.

There is a lot of money to be made through affiliate programs. Choose the programs that are proven to be profitable and educate yourself on effective marketing. You can be operating your own successful online business in a short period of time.
