Now, if you’re already familiar with any form of direct marketing or direct selling, you’ll probably know about sales letters. If not, you’ll need to know how to spot a good one so you can choose the right product to promote from the ClickBank affiliate website.

Choosing the right product really could make all the difference between making easy money every day as an affiliate and making ZERO money.

By following my step-by-step methods of picking the right products to promote as an affiliate, you can easily succeed in making very good money online. These are the secrets that majority of affiliates don’t know about.

Okay, so how do we know a good sales letter that will make you money? A sales letter is basically "the story" about why a customer should buy the product in question.

You see, in good old "door-to-door" or "face-to-face" marketing, the salesman has to try and convince and persuade the potential customer to buy the product by talking to them and describing all the features of the product.

Also, the selling process might have involved physically showing them what the product can do, perhaps giving an actual physical demonstration of the product in action.

Now, when it comes to marketing on the internet, the customer does not have the benefit of a physical demonstration or direct conversation with the salesperson…or the recognition factor of a well known, popular brand (in most cases).

So the only way to get the message of the product across is to design a "sales letter" to perform the task of SELLING the product for you.

Essentially the sales letter acts as your SALESPERSON. So if you actually reflect on the "function" of a sales letter to explain why the customer should buy the product, you will immediately begin to appreciate just how persuasive it has to be to make the customer want to reach for their credit card and make a purchase.

Although as an affiliate, you don’t create the product or the sales letter, you DO however, have the choice of WHAT PRODUCT YOU “CHOOSE” TO PROMOTE.

So basically what I’m saying here is that as you look for a product to sell as an affiliate, you need to know what a good sales letter should look like if you want to make a lot of money.

A good sales letter should have a powerful HEADLINE which has what I call the crucial “Hook” factor:

You may already know the vital importance of a good headline. It is probably the single most important part of the whole sales letter, simply because if the headline doesn’t "hook" the website visitor (potential customer) at first sight…they will simply click away from the sales letter. That’s it!

It wouldn’t matter how good the rest of the sales page was. THEY WOULD NOT READ THAT FAR TO FIND OUT! So how do we know a good headline?

It should capture the BENEFITS of the product; what it can do for the customer. Notice I said benefits, not features. You see, there’s a BIG difference between pointing out the features of the product…and pointing out the benefits.

Let’s take a quick example.

Features based headline:

Buy 360mm Turntable Microwave, 1,000 Watt Power, Stainless Steel

Benefits based headline:

"Your Meal "Piping Hot" And Ready…In Just 5 Minutes, GUARANTEED!"

You see the difference? Which ad would YOU be more likely to respond to if you were a potential microwave customer? You see, the number one rule of all direct marketing is that you should always emphasize the benefits FOR THE CUSTOMER.

The customer could care less about what your product can do (technically). They don’t care how clever you are or how knowledgeable you are on your subject.

All they care about is simply: "What the hell can this product do for ME?" "Why on earth am I spending my precious time reading this stuff right now?"

So next time you’re trying to choose which affiliate products will make you good money, remember to apply this principle and you’ll achieve great success.

All too often affiliates adapt a sort of passive business strategy. Perhaps that’s because affiliate don’t technically own much of anything or perhaps it’s just because they get used to having a company handles everything and pay them. To make more money as an affiliate there are a couple things you can do. These are active steps to building a business. Rather than simply checking stats daily hoping for another click, sale or whatever, these steps will help you grow as an actual business.

Step One: Newsletter

No matter what you are an affiliate of, there’s always a way to spin a newsletter. Rather than letting your traffic run through you like water, put up some dams and try to hold users. Your traffic is valuable and you should be trying to hold visitors long term. Create a newsletter and work to get subscribers. This not only builds value for your overall business, it gives you a way to promote over and over. I’m not saying create a Spamletter, but an actual newsletter that has value.

For instance, let’s say you are promoting a Stock Market oriented product. Develop out a newsletter that offers financial news and tips. Make it juicy and create a can’t-refuse style of sales pitch to get subscribers.

Step Two: Develop a valuable information site

Let’s stick with our Stock Market oriented product we are pushing. Rather than being passive and trying to get push traffic through a simple stale site, try building an informative resource. I’m not talking about simply throwing up pointless pages of poorly written content—even if they are on topic. I’m talking about creating a valuable resource that will hold visitors and get others in the sector to link to you. It’s all about working smarter not harder.

Step Three: Stop being an affiliate

If you want to make the big money, you need to have your won product. This doesn’t need to be an all or nothing affair. Simply look for a product you can create. Perhaps you are an affiliate for a Stock Market product and come up with an idea for a great product for the nutrition market. You can do both. The important thing is that you work to become the owner of a product or products and not simply remain an affiliate for the rest of your Internet business life.

Try out these three tips and see how you progress over time.

If you want to make BIG money online as an Affiliate, you need to know how to choose the right products to promote. And now, I’m going to show you, step-by-step, how to know which products will make money for you while other affiliates struggle to get sales or make a living online.

I told you in Part 1, that the best products to promote are the products with the most powerful website "sales letters." I also talked about the importance of the sales letter HEADLINE and how it has to be one that can really "Hook" the customer within the first few seconds of reading it!

Well, there are 6 other factors of a good sales letter which will help you to choose the very best products to promote online.

Make sure to follow these rules when looking at the sales letters of affiliate products you’re thinking of promoting, and only choose a product if the sales letter meets all the following rules:

1) A good headline has to communicate that the product can help the customer to solve their problem or achieve their goals QUICKLY and EASILY. People want "quick fixes" in their lives. So they will be more interested in anything that solves their problem…fast!

This means that the headline should be SPECIFIC and give actual times, numbers, and figures. Instead of saying something like "My weight loss product will help you lose weight." The headline should say something like this instead "You will lose 20 pounds in 45 days."

Obviously, you want to make sure that this is the TRUTH. A headline should NOT be promoting false statements or lies about the product. So just be sure to check that the product does what it says BEFORE you start to promote it as an affiliate.

2) Frequent use of Sub-Headings all through the Sales Letter: Have you ever read an internet webpage which uses the same font size and lettering all the way through the long, long, page. BORING!

A good sales letter should use lots of sub-headings in BOLDER fonts at certain points just to change the "tempo" every so often. These sub-headings also have another very useful function: they communicate more BENEFITS of the product.

You see, not every potential customer has the time to read a whole sales letter. Most times, people on the internet visiting websites are in a HURRY. So they may just quickly "scan" through the page to get an idea of the benefits of the product and decide if they want to buy or not.

So a good sales letter should make BOLD points about the benefits of the product often throughout the body of the sales letter to cater to the busy "scanners."

3) Short Sentences and Paragraphs: This kind of ties into the previous point about sub-headings. Again, here you’re trying to make a product appealing to people in a rush.

If the paragraphs are too long without breaks, it tends to both BORE readers and irritate people in a real hurry. And ultimately, discourage them from staying, reading and buying the product.

If you notice, even this article is written with short sentences to keep YOUR attention. It works, doesn’t it? So look out for this feature in sales letters.

4) Customer Testimonials: Every potential buyer wants to know what current users of the product think about it. This is basically a success story by someone who’s already bought and used the product with good results.

Every potential customer knows that the seller of a product will obviously sing it’s praises to high heavens. But a "current" satisfied customer is seen by the potential buyer as impartial, and their opinion counts for more than anything else.

So a good sales letter should definitely include a couple customer testimonials.

5) Money-Back Guarantee: This is more or less something that any self-respecting marketer should offer with any product. A good sales letter should definitely include a money-back guarantee for customers.

This gives the buyer more confidence to make a purchase. So you should always look out for this feature on sales letters when choosing products to promote and sell as an affiliate.

6) Attractive, bright colors on the page with nice, clear visual images: Remember that the potential customer cannot physically see the product you’re selling. So if the images do not look attractive on the webpage, they are less likely to have any TRUST in the product.

It’s hard enough to sell something to someone in normal circumstances. It gets even more difficult with an unattractive, unclear sales letter.

A good "rule of thumb" here is this: if the webpage looks attractive to you, it’s likely it will look attractive to at least a good number of the prospective customers as well. So always look out for this when choosing a product to sell.

So, make sure you follow these rules when choosing your next affiliate product and you would definitely have more success than most "average" affiliate marketers.

Some people seem to get overwhelmed when looking for a good affiliate program to promote especially if they’re new to internet marketing. Most new people online don’t even know where to begin.

I know you’re ready to make money online, so take your time and find a profitable affiliate program to promote.

It is important to decide what types of products you want to promote. Find something in your niche or something that you enjoy doing and find a product related to that. It will make the process a lot easier. You will actually enjoy the entire process of working with products and services you like talking about, plus it won’t feel like work if you enjoy it.

Clickbank is one of the largest online marketplaces for finding products to sell. Once you find products to sell, write your list down, the web address and the title of each product and maybe a short description of the product.

The next step to take is to view the web pages. In Clickbank you can look at the number affiliates promoting a product. This is called the gravity level. If a lot affiliates are already promoting the product, it could end up being to competitive which means those affiliates are already ahead of the game. Don’t promote products with high competition. In fact, I suggest promoting only affiliate programs that have 50 affiliates or less. As you’re going through this process, eliminate the affiliate programs with high gravity because you’ll be up against too much competition.

Now go back to the webpages, you decided to promote and look at each webpage and ask yourself these questions:

Would I purchase this product?

Can I trust the owner?

Are there less than two misspelled words on the webpage?

Does the page completely load in 30 seconds or less?

Are all the links working properly?

Does the owner offer support?

Is there contact information on the website?

Does the webpage offer refunds for unsatisfied customers?

If your answer is NO about any of the webpages, take them off your list. You only want to promote websites that look professional and perform well. I also try not to promote websites that have pop up windows, but sometimes that can be very difficult an you end up with no choice. The reason for this is because a lot of places where you will be promoting your products will not accept websites with pop up windows.

Another thing you should do is find an affiliate program that offer promotional resources. This will be a tremendous help, if you are new to online marketing.

Your list will now have fewer websites on it. Go over your list again and see how much commission each one pays. Eliminate the ones that pay less than 50 percent. The higher the affiliate commissions, the more money you make.

So now you’re wondering, how do I pick the winner? Of course, you should choose the one that offer affiliates the largest commissions and start promoting.

Affiliate marketing is a great business to be in and can be extremely rewarding. So take the necessary steps by following the guidelines outlined here and you should make more money with less competitive affiliate programs.

One popular way you can make money with your website or blog is by promoting affiliate programs. Many people however have found that they do not make money with affiliate marketing - so what are the secrets? How can one ensure that they do make money from affiliate products?

The first step in making money with affiliate products is to have some way of capturing leads. Few people make sales the first time someone comes to their website or blog so you need to create some way of staying in touch with those who are interested. If you have a website this can be done using a lead capture page, if you have a blog you may wish to offer a newsletter on your blog or some free product that people need to give you their email address for.

This brings us to the second point: people won’t generally just give you their email addresses on a lead capture page or a blog. You need to offer them something free! Either create, have created or find a product with giveaway rights related to your affiliate products that you can give to your customers in order to get their email address. Once you have given them something of value and you have their email addresses, you will find your affiliate marketing that much easier.

If you create a freebie or have it created for you then turn it viral. This means that you allow other people to give it away as well and so you multiply your marketing. Embed the freebie with your affiliate links and then when people give out your product and follow the links they will be your affiliate links and you will gain the commission. This means that you now have a whole free sales force advertising your affiliate products for you.

Another important aspect of affiliate marketing is targeted advertising. Use forums, article marketing and email groups to advertise your affiliate products to people who are genuinely interested in the subject. Find forums on your topic, write (or have written) articles where you can advertise your affiliate links and join email groups where you can post helpful advice related to your affiliate products.

The secrets to affiliate marketing therefore lie in having a way to follow up on people who are interested in your affiliate products. An easy way to do this is by giving away a valuable freebie. Even better is if you can make this a viral freebie with your affiliate links in it so that you can multiply your affiliate marketing efforts. Use targeted advertising to get leads to come to your page with forum marketing, article marketing and email groups related to your affiliate products.

An affiliate is someone who sells products or services for other business owners and they split the profits. Websites that sell related items to their niche are also considered affiliates provided they don’t own the product. The Internet provides a way to link many different affiliates together so everyone can prosper even more. But one thing’s for certain, is that you don’t have to be a super affiliate to earn a full time income online.

If you are interested in selling products/services for another company, you should certainly research the best ways to market your products. When I first started out marketing as an affiliate, I found one of the best ways to get traffic to my website is with ezine advertising. I still feel it’s a great way to drive traffic to your affiliate links or website.

The Internet has no space limitations making it easier to set up a business in just a few hours. Another great thing about being an affiliate is that you have very little accounting, tracking sells etc. This is usually handled by the product owner.

Your efforts should always be on providing customers with an almost limitless amount of good information. Experts on affiliate marketing make this claim: The longer the periods of time that a customer spends reading copy on a website, the greater the chances that that customer will make a purchase. Therefore, you should be sure that you do what it takes to not only get people to your website, but also keep them there.

There are some sure ways to abolish one’s chances for becoming a good affiliate. One way is with wild and untrue claims. When such claims appear on a website, customers frequently communicate their disgust to others. Then fewer and fewer customers will visit a website with outrageous claims. This will destroy your marketing power.

So, if you want to be successful, you should certainly do a few things to ensure your success. First, you should locate good products or services. Clickbank is a great place to start. I always purchase a product before recommending it to someone else. Next, you should find a way to get more traffic to your website. Like I said earlier, ezines are still my favorite places to advertise. You should also offer great content, and this will keep people at your site longer on their first visit. Good relevant content on your site will always win and search engines will send you more traffic. If you do these things, you will find yourself well on your way to making a full time income as an affiliate marketer.

Wow it’s overwhelming these days the amount of opportunities on the internet inviting us all to get rich. There is a dazzling array of e-books you can purchase covering every angle and strategy for making big Dollars with minimal effort and in no time at all.

The appeal of all this information is, of course very powerful. Who wants to continue in the drudgery of a boring 9-til-5 job, working for some other guy, when you could have financial independence, more time and not have to worry about paying the mortgage every month. I would be a hypocrite to knock this after all that’s why originally started my own online business several years ago.

However it took me along time to understand that the key principles for online success were not always to be found by studying the work of others. Don’t get me wrong there is great value in studying the work of successful online marketing experts, in fact it is essential. The real deal is this though, the key to real online prosperity requires more than just knowledge … here is my list of what I call ‘The Critical Factors’

1) Planning – I know it’s an old and worn out saying, but it is still very true; people don’t plan to fail but many people fail to plan. Write down every goal you have. Produce a business plan that steers you towards these goals.

2) Focus – It very easy to jump from project to project. Successful entrepreneurs stay focused on a few specific projects and avoid easily being distracted.

3) Perseverance – Getting discouraged is also very easy. Let’s face it the claims of all these sites that you can make it real quick can set unrealistic expectations. Don’t get me wrong it is possible to progress quickly but in my experience this is only after the hard work of persevering is done.

4) Lack of knowledge – The immediacy the internet offers makes it very tempting to launch out too soon. This has to be my top tip; in fact if you take this to heart you can see massive results. Make sure you study real hard, read books, sign up for courses, in addition to this, and make sure you follow the example of those who are established. Get a solid understanding of the industry and the tools available and you will reduce wasted time, effort and money and reach your goals far quicker.

My final comment is a confession. I learned most of the above the hard way. Mainly as a result of being impatient and believing the hype I failed to focus and got easily discouraged. I ended going back and re-reading books I had skimmed and putting into action what I had learned. Please don’t make the same mistakes. I am confident the information in this feature will give you a real leg-up and wish you all the best with the success of your own online adventure.

If you think you need to be an online expert or a computer genius in order to make money online, you’re wrong! Anyone can make money online. You just need to know what to do to get started. While there are no specific rules for doing business online, there are a few things you should remember before trying to make money online.

The first thing you should do is to think about your talents. For instance, if you have a service you offer in the “real world”, you might think about offering it online as well. If you do consulting in your office, you can do it online. If you sell a product in your hometown, you can also do it online.

Anything you find profitable in your everyday life can quite possibly make you money online as well. So, think about what you do and try to brainstorm how you can do the same thing online. People usually do great when doing something they enjoy. Two good things about venturing out into the World Wide Web, you can reach more people which can only mean more profits and you can start on a shoe string budget.

If you don’t have a talent or one that you want to use online, or a product, you can go another route. You can always sign up with affiliate programs. Affiliate marketing is a quick way to get started with an online business. Most affiliate programs usually come with ad copy and places to advertise to help you get off to a fast start.

If you do have your own website, you can place Adsense contextual ads on your website along with your affiliate programs to make even more money. You simply copy and paste a code on your website that Google gives you when you sign up for an account. Anytime someone clicks on one of the ads, you make money.

You can also make money online by joining online auctions and selling your products. You can have an online garage sale by selling everything you want to get rid of without having to deal with certain things that come with having a sale at your home, like bad weather or high traffic.

Although you can make money online, you should be aware that not everyone you come in contact with online will help you profit. There are many scams out there, so be sure that some due diligence is done on your part whatever direction you decide to take and do your research before giving up your hard earned money.

These are just a few ideas to help anyone new on the internet to start making money. Forget the fact that you’re new to internet marketing. In order to be successful with any business idea you must take massive action. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect in order for you to get started. Just tweak things along the way and watch how fast you become a success.

It is everybody’s dream to be able to make money fast online on autopilot. But is it realistic? Is it possible or is this just the hype peddlers joke at our expense?

Here is the good news. There are already people online making most of their money on auto pilot. This writer for instance makes about 2.5 per cent of his monthly income on autopilot. Let me tell you my story before we go any further.

To be honest the amount I currently make on auto pilot is not much. But I can tell you that I know many people who would give anything to be able to make this kind of income monthly, for doing nothing.

How I Started Making Money Online On Autopilot About a year ago I came across this website that had an idea that I thought was excellent (see details at my blog). The site sold content on behalf of writers. Having been a freelance writer for many years, I immediately saw the advantage in having an "online agent" sell your work for you. Writers having to sell and market their own work is a very time-consuming exercise so if somebody takes it away from you, you are bound to be very productive. I quickly signed up ad posted some content at the site. But the really smart decision I made was to refer others to the site. I figured that any webmaster wouldn’t mind rewriting their own content and posting at the site for sale. What made the whole deal even more attractive was the fact that your content could get sold to more than one site.

I quickly wrote a few articles and also placed a small online ad. The result was that within a short time I had referred dozens of writers, webmasters and bloggers to the site. Shortly after that I stopped posting articles regularly at the site because I got very busy so I clean forgo about it. Then one day I received some money via Paypal from the site. That was beginning. The amount steadily increased but then after a while it stuck to a certain level where it still is today. But what I love most about it is that the payments come in like clock work. Every month without fail. If I can add another zero at the end of the current figure I will be ecstatic (and maybe I should start working on it). If I can somehow find an ingenious way to sign up more referrals at the program, I might just be able to add two zeros to the figure instead of just one, and if that happens I will never have to worry about money again. And it will all be coming in by auto pilot.

How You Too Can Make Money On Auto Pilot All you have to do is find a website that pays you for the output of referrals that you send them. Not once, but for as long as that affiliate is productive at that website.

Read the rest of this article at the writers’ affiliate on auto pilot blog. You can also get some great tips on how to increase any auto affiliate earnings including Adsense earnings from this popular ezinearticles piece on Adsense and affiliate tips.

How would you like to make money online as an affiliate? Better yet, how would you like to turn yourself into a Super Affiliate and make money online even more that you could not stop your money from filling up your bank account every month?

There is no doubt there are many affiliate marketers on the Internet. Some are very successful and some just earn enough to pay their bills every month. In order to make money online selling affiliate product, you need to adjust your mind set and become a super affiliate.

Super affiliate like Ewen Chia and Russell Brunson is making million of dollars each and every year. They don’t do things like normal affiliate marketer did. If you want to make money online the same way they did, you will have to think like them.

So here’s how, if you want to recruit some affiliates for one product that you have just launched, you will have to motivate them. One way is to create some samples for your affiliates, so they have something to give to prospective customers. For instance, with a video product, take clips from the video; and for audio, do the same thing. For software, you may want to create a demo version. Allowing your affiliates to distribute this demo and sample products will increase their conversion rates.

Consider setting up a multi-level commission system as a means to recruit affiliates. You will be making more money online if you implement this method. For instance, if one affiliate recruits another affiliate who makes 10 sales, that first affiliate earns a percentage on all of those 10 sales. This will give other business and list owners with a following an incentive to participate, even if they can’t directly sell your product.

If you’re planning to coordinate a massive launch with affiliates, always plan to purchase professional graphic headers and e-covers, too. If your sales page does not look professional, you will immediately lose a lot of potential affiliates. Like you, they want to earn a decent return from their efforts; and they also want to associate with good products, not amateur ones. They want to make money online with someone who they can trust without cheating them.

Use ClickBank as your affiliate program administrator and coordinate a massive launch. This will have an exponentially positive effect. The more sales you close, the faster your product or service will rise to the top of the ClickBank charts. As your product gets higher, more affiliates will pick up your product, further increasing your profits.

If you contact someone and ask them to become an affiliate for you, always remember to give them a free copy of your product or service. Not only will this increase their likelihood of actually becoming your affiliate, but it will also make them considerably more effective as an affiliate, since they will actually understand what the product provides.

They are just no boundary to make money online as a super affiliate. All you need to do is to think outside the box a little bit. Copy every method that has been mentioned above which is proven can make you more money online.
